Hypha partner with leading EdTech provider
Hypha has completed a significant investment in Pass Tech (“Pass”), a leading EdTech company committed to improving educational outcomes in maths and English through innovative software and high-quality learning resources. This transaction underscores Hypha’s commitment to backing founder-led businesses in technology, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
Summary of the Investment
Hypha has invested alongside founders Oliver Naylor and Lewis Wilding, who established the business in 2016. The transaction aligns with Hypha’s belief in the potential of smaller founder-owned companies when combined with a supportive partner and fresh capital. Hypha’s investment will support Pass Tech in expanding its platform capabilities, expanding its course and content offering, and continuing to grow both its B2C and B2B arms.
The company will strengthen its leadership team with new hires, including Terry Sweeney, formerly CEO of RM Plc, as Chair, and an incoming CFO. Matthew Evans-Young and Matt Pomroy, founders of Hypha, will also join the board.
